Video thumbnails

There is a template for the design of the preview image for each of the video formats. The rule is: Less is more – an interesting graphic motif, a precise text. The attractive video preview awakens interest, however, the uniform look also ensures a coherent overall effect of multiple thumbnails next to each other – whether on the website or on the YouTube channel.

YouTube video description

The better the description of a YouTube video is, the more likely it will be found and will be well-received. A snappy title and informative description are therefore compulsory. Further links, a call to action and linking to social media are an additional useful service for YouTube users – as is the creation of chapters for longer videos.
